Playing checkers with bottle caps. I played, and lost. I blame it on a different set of rules.

We will focus on Gabriel’s work in Ecuador for the first few weeks of 2015.

I have known Gabriel for nearly ten years. Apart from his time spent in the US to study at the Master’s College in California, he works with street kids and barrio residents in Guayaquil, Ecuador. This is an extremely dangerous ministry.

I spent a week with him travelling the streets of Ecuador’s most dangerous neighborhoods. I watched him as he made connections, ministered to hurting residents, and keep up good relations with the people of the barrio so it will continue to be safe for him to work with the barrio’s abandoned children.

After I returned to the US, the dangerous nature of his ministry was emphasized. I learned that one of the men who helped us during our forays into the barrio was murdered in that same neighborhood.

He has a home set up with some local help to rescue a few children from the streets, but very few. The money is always in short supply.

If you want to help Gabriel, please give using the link below. AMPP will transfer all money to Gabriel in Ecuador.
